This website was formed in May, 2006, after the owner of the website, Doc, discovered that his 10 year old, commercial website had been delisted by Google. Upon returning to the office in early April, after being out of the office for three days, Doc checked his primary commercial website, as he usually did each day, only to find that its Google Page Rank of 5 had been changed to 0, and that it had vanished from the Google system. While it still showed up in all the other search engines, it had been deleted from Google and Google's index. At the time, this website constituted the primary financial support for Doc's family. As a result, the impact of the delisting was very significant. |
